Our Story

UNICA de UCLA (Union Centroamericana) was established in the Fall of 2018. The organization grew out of a need to create a space on campus for Central American students to build community, raise consciousness, grow,  learn/unlearn, and to support Central American communities and movements outside of the institution. UNICA seeks to provide an empowering space for Central Americans, about Central Americans and by Central Americans.
